Steve Krumnaker

Steven serves the Environmental Services industry in an executive leadership capacity by leading business systems development and process improvement initiatives. Specializing in providing solutions in complicated environments where companies are experiencing a turnaround situation, growing pains from acquisitions or organic growth, or have an appetite to raise the professionalism and business acumen within their leadership team to drive results.

This is demonstrated by Steven’s deep understanding of the key drivers within the value chain and business life cycle. His unique experience comes from leading and driving change over the last 20 years as an industry finance executive or owner within some of the nation’s most recognized and fastest growing companies. Among them are BrightView, ValleyCrest, Scapes, and TruGreen Landcare. Each of these companies experienced accelerated growth of 200-300% during his tenure.

Within these complicated environments, Steve has developed enterprise-wide financial systems and operational reporting, implemented a branch management training program focused on successful financial management and profitability, and provided leadership in pre and post-acquisition integration efforts in markets all over the country.

Steven has learned firsthand that successful branch financial management within the industry involves making complicated financial concepts simple to understand, using the right metrics and KPI’s, and being sensitive to the impact process change has on culture, employees, and customers.

Steven holds a B.S. in Business Management from WGU and is certified in Project Management, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing disciplines. On a personal level, Steve enjoys road cycling, tennis, and serving in various leadership roles in youth organizations and outreach activities.
